"Invisiline," a cutting-edge invention, is rapidly gaining traction in the dental health sector. This technology allows individuals to correct orthodontic irregularities using custom-made transparent dental sleeves. Japan Dental Store is among the first shops to produce and sell these personalized 3D-printed devices. This new typology, straddling the dental health and retail sectors, presents unique challenges for designers.

As designers, our goal was to create a space that promotes a sense of well-being while offering a charming and welcoming retail environment for this innovative product. Our choice of colors and materials reflects the concept of "affordable luxury," making dental aesthetics more accessible without the stress of visiting a doctor. These shops aim to encourage the public to explore orthodontic treatments, ultimately reaching a broader patient base.

The first Japan Dental Store is set to open in a shopping mall in Japan, with future locations operating under a franchise model. The design of each shop will be tailored to fit the specific layout of the chosen location. Our primary concept revolves around the themes of change and the treatment cycle. With time and proper use of the product, customers can achieve the aesthetic solutions they seek. Thus, the concept of improvement and cyclical progression was central to our design approach.

In the rectangular space of the store, a core area houses the instructors and their information desks. A circular route, symbolizing the cycle of improvement, guides customers through the store, beginning and ending at the same point. Upon entering, visitors are instinctively drawn to an informative wall, designed to captivate with digital screens and dental sculptures.

Following the circular path, customers reach the dental measurement rooms and the cashier, where instructors provide further guidance. The facade of the store aims to convey a sense of well-being and health, with an eye-catching shop window that attracts passersby. Both sides of the store feature displays showcasing the dental Invisiline product, both digitally and physically, allowing customers to see real-life examples of various types of Invisilines. The arches of the shop windows and the main entrance enhance the store's charm, creating an inviting and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere.
