Milano Gourmet is designed to harmonize with natural elements, creating a seamless integration of its charcuterie, restaurant, and bar. Each of these distinct components is arranged in a way that complements and enhances the others. Situated on one of the most popular streets in Nişantaşı, Istanbul, the venue aims to be a prominent street bar in the area. The design reflects Italian identity through its choice of materials and overall ambiance.
Approaching from the street, passersby are greeted by a green façade adorned with plants. Terracotta-colored sun blinds convey the warmth of the interior space. The organic aesthetic of the restaurant attracts visitors, who are welcomed through an open, transparent façade. This design choice invites people inside and hints at the charcuterie experience with a glimpse of a charcuterie fridge.
Serving as a wine cellar, charcuterie, and tasting center, the restaurant's layout distinguishes these identities across two floors while unifying them through its design. The 250 m² space features a platform that bridges the two levels, with a wine library connecting the entire venue.
